Circle Area Formula Derivation

Derivation of Circle Area

Visualizing Area = πr² by transforming a circle into a rectangle via limit theory.

Math Principle:

We cut the circle into 16 equal sectors.
Rearranging them forms a shape resembling a parallelogram (or rectangle).
The height of this rectangle is the radius r.
The width is half the circumference: 12×2πr=πr\frac{1}{2} \times 2\pi r = \pi r
Area = Width × Height = (πr)×(r)=πr2(\pi r) \times (r) = \pi r^2
